On August 23, the first AI Smart Glasses Summit Forum and investment and financing closed-door matchmaking session, hosted by Wellsenn Information, a member enterprise of the Shenzhen Optical Industry Association, and co-organized by the Shenzhen Augmented Reality Technology Application Association and the Shenzhen Optical Industry Association, concluded successfully in Shenzhen.
The theme of this forum was “Integration, Innovation, Focusing on the Smart Transformation of Traditional Glasses, Bridging the Three Major Fields of Traditional Glasses, AI, and Wearable Electronics.” The forum brought together manufacturers from various sectors of the AI smart glasses and traditional glasses industry chain, including AI smart glasses brand manufacturers, traditional glasses brand manufacturers, ODM solution providers, AI large model manufacturers, audio manufacturers, camera manufacturers, prototype/structure/hinge manufacturers, OEM assembly manufacturers, and eyewear sales channel providers.
Over 200 guests attended the forum, with nearly 100 participating companies. Notable attendees included Jimei New Materials (President Enterprise of the Shenzhen Optical Association), Baixi Glasses (Executive President Enterprise), Doctor Glasses, Li Bai Glasses (Honorary President Enterprises), Price (Executive Vice President Enterprise), Yash Optical, Essilor-Luxottica, Carl Zeiss, iFlytek, Yijing, Li Weike, Tianjian Co., Ltd., Sony Semiconductor, Huawei, Xian Shun Technology, among other well-known companies and their executives and employees.
The venue featured an intelligent glasses experience booth with various mainstream AI/AR smart glasses for guests to experience, including Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses, Thunderbird X2, Meizu MYVU Smart Glasses, Yingmu Air 2, Yingmu Go, Jiewan AI Smart Glasses, XREAL Air 2 Utral, and Li Weike Metalens S1.
Seven companies, including Yijing Virtual Reality, Tianjian Electroacoustic, Li Bai Glasses, Li Weike Technology, Xiaoman Intelligent, Yuanshan Glasses Intelligent Manufacturing Park, and Guangdong KeZhan International Exhibition Co., Ltd., set up booths to showcase their products, solutions, or services in the AI smart glasses industry.
The AI smart glasses industry is still in its early stages, with various segments of the industry chain still exploring their paths. Currently, the AI smart industry is characterized by disorder and rough expansion, with the supply chain not yet integrating its advantages, software and application ecosystems still undeveloped, and policies, regulations, and compliance aspects remaining blank. Additionally, many small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs face difficulties in investment and financing and are struggling at the start. To address these issues, during the AI industry summit forum, Wellsenn Information, in collaboration with the Shenzhen Augmented Reality Technology Application Association, Shenzhen Optical Industry Association, Doctor Glasses, Sunny Optical, Yijing Virtual Reality, Yash Optical, Li Weike, Tianjian Co., Ltd., and Xian Shun Technology, jointly launched the AI Smart Glasses Industry Alliance. The goal is to leverage integration and unification advantages while effectively uniting various segments of the AI smart industry chain. The alliance aims to contribute to industry standards, policies, and regulations, and provide strategic advice, support, and collaborative advancement to promote the healthy and orderly development of the entire industry. Wang Dayong and Yang Hui from the Bao'an Bureau of Industry and Information Technology also came on stage to witness the launch of the AI Smart Glasses Industry Alliance.

Chen Guozhu, R&D Manager of the Smart Glasses Division at Essilor-Luxottica Huahong (Dongguan) Eyeglasses Co., Ltd., presented “The Correct Path for Smart Glasses Products and Insights for the Future,” discussing AI smart glasses, the integration of traditional glasses with AI, and the prospects and needs of AI smart glasses in the supply chain.
Li Zhaojiao, Founder of Li Bai Glasses, spoke on “The Essence of Smart Glasses from the Perspective of Traditional Brand Eyewear Manufacturers,” sharing the development history, current status, and understanding of smart glasses, as well as strategies for integrating smart technology with traditional eyewear.
Li Fuyou, Business Director of iFLYTEK, presented on “Voice Interaction and Creative Applications of AI Smart Glasses,” focusing on voice interaction scenarios, the development opportunities for voice technology, and how iFLYTEK’s voice interaction and large models empower AI smart glasses.
Ru Yi, Founder & CEO of Li Weike Technology, delivered a presentation on “WAKE-AI, Building a New Generation AI Smart Hardware Ecosystem,” discussing the application of the WAKE-AI multimodal large model in AI smart glasses and introducing other hardware ecosystem integration solutions.
Hao Yuzhao from Essilor-Luxottica's LUXOTTICA Innovation Affairs spoke on “Exploring the Combination and Mutual Empowerment of AI Smart Glasses and Traditional Glasses,” analyzing traditional glasses' business models, brand distribution, sales channels, and how smart glasses can integrate with traditional eyewear.
Zhong Weiwen from Hong Kong 3M Design Exploration Studio presented “The Integration of ID Industrial Design for AI Smart Glasses with Traditional Eyewear and Trends in Smart Glasses Design,” discussing the lessons traditional eyewear can offer smart glasses and trends in smart glasses design.
Zhou Jialu, CMO of Sunny Optical, delivered a presentation on “Exploring the ‘Light and Shadow’ Symbiotic Future of AI Smart Glasses,” focusing on camera selection, image capability upgrades, and how camera sensors enhance smart glasses' interaction and application.
