Exhibition Layout: Changes and Developments in MIDO 2025

Design Area: As a realm brimming with creativity and vision, Halls 2 and 4 served as the iconic Design Area, gathering the most forward-thinking creative minds in the industry. This space functioned like a laboratory, where various shapes and materials collided and merged, jointly narrating the multifaceted nature of eyewear.

 

 

Design Academy New Area: The Design Academy moved from Hall 2 back to Hall 6, marking a new phase of development. Historically a technology hall, the integration of the Design Academy infused the technology-focused area with fresh creativity. The synergy between design and technology offered visitors a unique experience, sparking new connections between avant-garde styles and technological advancements.

 

 

Fashion Square: Serving as the nerve center of MIDO, Fashion Square was the convergence point for major brands and a gathering place for fashion and luxury enthusiasts. The updated Fashion Square became more practical, emerging as the epicenter of trendsetting.

 

 

Looking Ahead: Otticlub Transforms into The Vision Stage

Otticlub officially transformed into The Vision Stage, signifying a new phase of development for the MIDO 2025 seminar, conference, event, and roundtable areas. This renaming not only reflected the organizers' active expansion of exhibition activities but also emphasized the core essence of this space as a place for dialogue and discovery.

 

 

The series of events held at The Vision Stage provided participants with rich opportunities for professional development and personal growth. Themes such as digitalization, innovation, social responsibility, Made in Italy, sustainability, women's empowerment, and market trends became the focus of the seminars, aiming to offer professionals more valuable resources.

 

 

It is worth mentioning that Francesca Valan, the renowned color designer who hosted the "New Dimensions of Color" event at The Vision Stage during MIDO 2025, was also a specially invited speaker for this exhibition by Ji Mei New Materials.

 

Beyond Trends&Trend Colours

To further explore the mysteries of eyewear design and color science, Ji Mei New Materials collaborated with the renowned color designer Francesca Valan to present an exclusive lecture titled "Beyond Trends: Timeless Color for Eyewear," and launched the latest sample collection, Beyond Trends .

 

 

At the same time, Ji Mei New Materials also introduced the WGSN 2026/27 Global Key Colors for Autumn/Winter "Trend Colours" sample collection. The concepts of the two collections collided and coexisted harmoniously, adding endless discussion to the creative exhibition of MIDO 2025.
